Nina makes this gorgeous Electra heel which features a peeptoe, ankle strap, and stylish bow... and I have first-hand knowledge that this blue version happens to be a wedding day favorite! What a chic way to add a pop of color to a winter white wedding... Congratulations to the bride and groom!

Feed Me Now! Hawaiian shave ice

Alooooooha!

I am lucky enough to currently be in the stunning locale of Kauai, Hawaii... and of course this means I need to eat my favorite Hawaiian treat - shave ice!

While I do like to experiment with the delightful array of flavor possibilities, the triple threat tropical treat of pineapple, banana, and coconut syrup is my go-to combination. HOORAY FOR SHAVE ICE!

Throwback - Hungry Hungry Hippos

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am indeed a Hungry Hungry Hippo on this glorious day, though I am not destined to consume a traditional Thanksgiving dinner this year. When I look back at my favorite childhood activities (eating, cooking, eating, baking, and playing games about voracious ungulates who eat marbles), is it any wonder that I have turned into such a food freak?

I love when people get serious at this game and start vigorously flailing at the hippo handles. It's not a party until the marbles start to fly!

WTF? Fundies

New and improved Fundies are "The Underwear Built for Two"!

Based on the array of glowing reviews, this ingenious product must be flying off the shelves! Here are my favorite helpful comments:
  • "These would work well for Siamese twins."
  • "I am writing to request you make Lotsa Fundies, which would have enough room for three people."
  • "I(f) these things had pictures of wolves on them, they'd be the ultimate aphrodisiac."

Rather than end on this lovely note, hit the jump for the ultimate fundie...

Retail Therapy - Baseball cufflinks

These cufflinks from Red Envelope could be great for a baseball aficionado who likes to (or has to) sport suits. I do love a man in a well-tailored suit, and these cufflinks would add a subtle touch of personality and style - but without being tacky like a heinous theme tie from Ross Dress for Less.  They are crafted from authentic, game-used Major League baseballs, which is pretty freaking cool.
