If the Shoe Fits, Buy It! Steve Madden Regaal pump

This are my latest conquest! As a lifelong Elvis fan, how could I have possibly survived so long without a pair of blue suede shoes? Now I have them, so I can die happy. These Steve Madden shoes have a hidden platform, a decorative flourish on the peeptoe, and come in blue, black, blush, or magenta.

Side note: You will be rudely reprimanded if you try to take a cell phone picture of a pair of shoes in the Steve Madden store. I found that out the hard way. Hmph.

Throwback - Caboodles

Any self-respecting girl in the 1980s and 1990s owned a Caboodle. Throughout my youth, I owned multiple Caboodles - including the purple and teal beauty below:

There is no reason why Caboodles should ever go out of style...

Caboodles forever!

Cat Food

My cats enjoy eating like humans... I am usually very careful about what they eat - they have special dry food and get ocean whitefish only on Sundays.

However, once in a while they get a little treat. Yes, I occasionally bribe them to like me. I find their preferred human food to be very interesting:

Olive eats like Mary Kate Olsen... minimal calories, of course:

  • Spinach
  • Tortillas (only big-ass handmade ones, of course)
  • Vanilla frozen yogurt

Lulu eats like Britney Spears... the greasier, the better:

  • Bacon
  • Cheetos (that's my girl!)
  • Fried chicken

Retail Therapy - Skull decor

I know, I know, skulls are totally overused these days. I agree. However, I have found just a few interesting pieces of skull home decor that may not deserve the cliched reputation.

Metallic skull from Z Gallerie:
As far as skulls goes, this sparkly, shiny, glammed out version is pretty fancy.

Rock and Royal custom made skull chandelier:
This is a serious piece of art... handmade by Hans van Bentem in The Netherlands, this chandelier would be perfect in a rock star's mansion.

Saber tooth tiger skull from Z Gallerie (my favorite!):
I would love this on a bookshelf between a decorative arrangement of volumes. It is so primal that it would perfectly offset an otherwise modern, organized room.
