The red version of these puppies are being specially honored today, as they have been selected as the official shoe of my law school graduation. Yes, the robe and hood make me look like a deranged sorcerer, but the shoes more than make up for it.

Prices: Very reasonable, $5 corkage fee for bottles of wine, I usually spend about $25-$35 here and leave full of food and wine

Good for: Happy hour with the ladies

Pros: Amazing food, good service, nice beer selection for a wine bar, stylish

Cons: Bad acoustics, lame Web site, parking lot not always open

Ratings and Recommendations:

10/10 - Brie, pear, honey, & arugula panini - it's just amazing... I had it 3 times within 3 weeks

8/10 - Messy sundae - the hot malted waffle puts this sundae over the edge

Notes: They spelled arugula wrong on the menu. I wanted to break out my red pen to correct it, but restrained myself.

Throwback - Where's Waldo?

Who didn't spend hours with their Waldo books, amazingly illustrated by Martin Handford? The world couldn't stop asking: Where's Waldo? Where's Waldo Now? Where's Waldo going on his Fantastic Journey?

Waldo was even my fierce fourth-grade Halloween costume. Striped shirt, hat, glasses, and cane - so simple, yet so badass.
