When I was a kid I was obsessed with this game show... contestants would earn spins that they could take around the game board:
Contestants could land on a variety of money and prizes, but did not want to land on a Whammy - if they did, an animated Whammy would cross the screen and steal all of their loot.
NO WHAMMIES, NO WHAMMIES! MAMA NEEDS A NEW PAIR OF SHOES! BIG MONEY, NO WHAMMIES!
The Whammy types were endless... Whammy on a flying carpet, Whammy as Boy George, Whammy pizza guy, Whammy on roller skates... they just don't make TV like this anymore.
